ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Vanessa Chamma, creator of Oriente History, has devoted years to the study of the history and politics of the Middle East. Her work combines the rigor of historical research with the analysis of contemporary geopolitics, with a commitment to making complex topics accessible to all who wish to understand this crucial region.
A defining element of her background is her direct experience during the 2006 war in Lebanon, in the context of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. This experience in the midst of one of the most significant episodes in recent history gives Vanessa a rare and profound perspective on the tensions, human impact, and concrete reality of conflicts in the region.
